A Traveling Diary

In this post I regal you with on my exodus from the South to North, how it  begins and some knowledge about long distance road travel, at least from my experience. I have traveled, by car, all the cross country routes at least once over my lifetime, and the route South to Florida and back twice, so I might know a thing or two about road trips, at least my way ;) My last night in Florida was in a hotel room just outside St. Augustine, sipping the last of  my box-O-wine.    Ahhhh, Chillax time.  I was elated and emotionally overwhelmed by the time I checked in that night. I had worked a half day that day, my last day, then drove North to Orlando, about 2 hours, where I took my exam, passed! Then traveled further North to St. Augustine, Florida where I finally landed, exhausted, nerves a bit raw but excited, and emotions running high as I recognized I was truly on my way, beginning my adventure. I slept well, rose early, only having about an 8 hour drive that day, ...

  I'm starting a digital journal of my travels.  A log 📚of what I see👀, smell 👃, learn 💡, and experience 😎. There's lots to see in this world and my hope is to be a part of all of it as much and for as long as I can.  It's also very responsible of me to share what I learn as I go along. I remember the day, well not the exact day but it was a time period this winter that has just past. I was living in a house share with four other roommates.  House sharing has been my way of life for many years. I tried the relationship living situation but that was unsuccessful, for many reasons. I tried living with family 👪 and while very loving 💖and fun, we are better off visiting with each other rather than trying to live together ✌. So, when I moved into this house share, there was one older gentleman who over-saw the house, he was the main renter and then four of us sub-rented the bedrooms and shared bathroom space. We were three women and two men. This worked in the beginning but slowly as the roommates 👸👹👿 changed, the household changed.  Cam 👦, one of the other renters, and the only other male; he and I became good friends.
